Graduated from Wake Forest University (BS Math) in 1968 and University of North Carolina (MA Economics) in 1972. Began work at AT&T as a computer programmer in Winston-Salem North Carolina, later transferring to New York City with AT&T.

I completed a 33 year Financial Management/CFO career in 2001 with AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya Communications in NYC and NJ. Taught math at college level for several years after that. I am currently Finance Director at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. My wife (Debbie Gerrish) and I live in Berkeley Heights NJ, she is a retired NJ public school teacher, published poet, and teaches at a local NJ College in Madison NJ.

I transferred to B-CC my Junior year from California where I grew up. Played on the B-CC baseball and football teams, which I enjoyed very much and still have fond memories of.

I have two brothers, Dave Gerrish is one year older than me and graduated from BCC in 1963, he lives in Warrenton VA with his wife and family. My younger brother Bill Gerrish was two years younger than me having graduated from BCC in 1966, he passed away in February 2014 having lived in Chevy Chase for many years with his wife and family.
