Sharon Metzler died of cancer in Phoenix, AZ in October, 2010. "Sharon and I were best friends from the time we met in the 3rd grade at Rollingwood Elementary School. I miss her desparately. Her sister and some friends, including some of our classmates, scattered her ashes off the coast of Ocean City as she wished."
