You’ve been pushing impeachment since election night 2016”

No. that's a lie.

”called him just about every vicious expletive you can think of”

Clearly, you are unable to read my mind. You haven’t a CLUE what vicious expletives I have at my disposal. Four years in the army develop one's arsenal of expletives in a way you can’t imagine.

And I’ve never been one to call a spade a gardening tool.

It's hopeful that polls show that Americans are listening and 55 percent are in favor of the impeachment inquiry. Many of us on the forum have already realized that this is a corrupt President but now with the admitted call to Ukraine to get dirt on Biden and the stopping of allowed funds to the Ukranians, many more can understand what is going on. Love, joanie

Yes! Vrana scores what will be the winnig goal.  It's nice to beat last years Staley Cup Team on opening night.

Image of the puck before entering the net was shot at 500mfps.  Nothing can travel faster than light, not even Vrana's slap shot.

Are we ready for the Natz tonight?

Jack,

We all know how I love smoked meats, but Jane will not allow any other cooking, smoking, pizza baking devices on the patio.

So rather than spending a substantial portion of my retirement income buying smoked delectables I have come up with 2 solutions:

These are 2 inexpensive add-ons to my Weber Genesis I grill, circa 2007.

The Russians, the Ukrainians, the Australians, the Chinese . . . that we know about. I’m not too worried about him owing the Ozzies a favor, I don’t think, but all the others? America First, but with plenty of foreign input into our electoral process. With invitations from the President, the Republican Party, and everyone who supports and defends him.

I.M.P.E.A.C.H. H.I.M!

You're ahead of me Glen. We just use a Weber charcoal grill that doesn't dominate the patio. But our stainless smoker box like yours does a great job. Hickory, mesquite and apple (and sometimes mixes of leftover chips) adds a nice flavor to whatever we grill. Especially salmon on a wet cedar plank.

Love the culinary discussion. We are breaking-in a new air fryer. So far, it makes great waffles & pork chops. Using the recipe booklet but welcome any tasty ones the forum might know.

GO NATS!!!!! (Soto making Dad proud!)

Nori,

Air fryer? Sounds very healthy, but will it do popcorn? Please don't attempt anything risky, but if you have popped corn with it let me know how it turned out.

Last night’s Natz vs. Dodgers game was a bit less than I had hoped for, but being the optimist that I am next game will be a Natz’ show-em-whatz-4. At least the Caps started off well.

Joanie,

After my Daughter’s wedding was finally over I needed to lower my blood pressure so I went to see your show at Glenview Mansion.  I loved the new paintings, and in particular “Field of Planes”.  And my pressure is back to normal;  Bravo Joanie! ...

Robert,

I have not tried a salmon filet on the Weber, but it’s encouraging to hear that you had good results with the smoker box. I’ll be taking the shine off of it this week. Hmmm; I'll need a wine too. Any suggestions?

I'll start with a few of these.

For the salmon I'd recommend a Robert Hall 2017 Chardonnay. (No relation).

It IS healthier because you get that crispy, crunchy fried yumminess with a fraction of the oily fat. And, supposedly, can’t tell the difference from our mom’s fried chicken or the air fryer’s. That’s what they say, anyway. I love the idea that you get an entire dinner done in less than 10 minutes. (Funny you should mention popcorn, Glen. I did not try that in the fryer, but my son did. Popcorn flew everywhere, & worse, it failed to pop evenly). Microwave has it’s advantages & popcorn’s one of them. Our generation lauds the 2 minute wait time, my son’s generation wants to cut it in half. Patience, over a minute or so, is apparently old school.

Nats: I lasted till10:30 & hit the sack, leaving the rest of the game to record. This morning, I was damned glad I did. Dodgers are gonna be tough nuts, but at least we have a few days for Strasbourg & Sherzer to rest their arms.

A smile for Jack, complete with his kind of language:

Hi Glen, That is so wonderful what you said. I love thinking that your seeing my art show lowered your blood pressure. Thanks for mentioning, "Field of Planes." My art teacher loves that painting too. Thank you and I will let you know when the next show is as we want to keep your blood pressure in the good calm range. Love, Joanie   Congratulations on your daughter's wedding!!!

High blood pressure. Mine under control, though without being treated by Joanie's art. Meds I can scarcely spell, much less pronounce. But the VA has just ruled that it's connected to Agent Orange exposure! So I no longer have a co-pay for them. If socialized medicine is good enough for vets, why isn't it good enough for everyone?

I have to confess. I bought a new, little camera. Much like the old little camera, but with a better zoom. And, it has the GÖTTERDÄMERUNG filter! Tonight's sunset wasn't as dramatic as I wanted it to be, so . . .

Nora Skinker (Morton)

Joanie, PLEASE share a photo of your “Field of Planes” for those of us who never saw it in person! A sweet dose of that kind of medicine is always welcome.

You definitely have a handsome pooch there, Jack, but we love all kinds of dogs. Some definitely have higher vet bills than others, however. Here are some cuties to enjoy:

Nori, I will be glad to put a picture of that painting, Field of Planes on the forum...I saw the info on how to upload a photo on the forum site but I think I still won't know how to do that. . I will get my computer programmer husband to help me....it might be in a day or two. Thanks for the asking about that. Love, Joanie

As I walked back from this Painting it changed; I saw a more vivid image of planes. Unfortunately I can't duplicate that here, pity.

Jack,

Götterdämmerung?  Hmmm; I thought it was a Wagner opera, part of the four music dramas: “Der Ring des Nibelungen” Who knew it was a camera lens?

Oh well, in any case I’m sure you checked out the just introduced iPhone 11 PRO that has the best Photo Optics ever, right?

Götterdämerung—Twilight of the Gods is one translation. It's a high contrast B&W filter. Here's a shot from this morning, using the Early Morning of the Gods filter:

Note the inflatable loon I’ve cleverly placed in front of the mist rising off the lake.

I've actually done the mist with a huge block of dry ice, dropped in by helicopter. Whatever it takes to get the picture, that's my motto.

I found these completely separately, but they seemed to go together well:

Glen, you are great...thank you for posting those painting photos of mine...they do look different too when you walk back at a distance. Thank you, and I am so happy you were able to get to the art show. I will let everyone know when I have another one. Love, Joanie   today was a gorgeous day. My husband and I went to Renfest in Annapolis for the afternoon....so nice to be there. Love, Joanie

Just let me know where and when you want the dry ice dumped, Glen, or if you want the GÖTTERDÄMERUNG effect. You'll need to sign the liability waiver for that, of course. Or would you like the celestial visitation effect?

We can throw in the Voice from On High for no extra cost.

Jack,

Beautiful camera work, but it's as much if not more the result of operator talent & know-how.

I’m sure they'll be made to feel right at home. Trump made $22 million from this property last year.

The head of this organization, Brigitte Gabriel (not her real name) has said that a practicing Muslim “cannot be a loyal citizen to the United States of America.” https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/03/americas-most-anti-muslim-activist-is-welcome-at-the-white-house/520323/?smid=nytcore-ios-share

I can find no record of Ms. “Gabriel's” military service to the United States of America.
